The Yankees’ impending free agent drilled two homers on Wednesday night — his third in two games — as the Bombers defeated the Twins 10-5 in the rubber match of a three-game set. Grisham’s 32nd homer of the season was a solo shot to tie the game at two in the top of the third and his 33rd blast was a three-run shot in the fourth, expanding their lead to 6-2.
Grisham has been a revelation for the Yanks, leaving rookie Jasson Dominguez — who went 1-for-3 with an RBI double on Wednesday — without an everyday role. The 28-year-old carried the offensive load for the Yanks in their victory as it was much-needed with a subpar starting pitching performance.
