PHILADELPHIA — Eagles star offensive tackle Jordan Mailata is sick of the controversy and the narrative around the tush push. He made that abundantly clear on Wednesday.

“This is my official plea to all the teams out there,” Mailata said near his locker at the NovaCare Complex. “You can run the tush push just like we can.”

The tush push is once again a topic of conversation after the Eagles featured their trademark QB sneak in Sunday’s Super Bowl rematch vs. the Chiefs.

The tush push was used successfully several times in the Eagles’ 20-17 win, including Jalen Hurts’ decisive fourth-quarter touchdown.

Replay showed Eagles offensive linemen false starting on the play, which has caused a visceral reaction from many in the NFL community, from opposing fans to TV talking heads.
