BANGOR -- People love the Fall season for many reasons. For the Wabanaki people, the season holds great significance.

Lisa Sockabasin of Wabanaki Public Health and Wellness says Wabanaki values are centered this time of year, including this being a time of abundance and harvesting of various crops from Mother Earth, and in turn, stewardship and protection of Mother Earth.

There are also numerous events this season that will celebrate both the earth and Wabanaki culture.
