News of the fatal shooting of three York County police officers and the wounding of two others following an investigation at a home in a rural township near Spring Grove on Wednesday drew responses from lawmakers and other officials.
State Sen. Kristin Philips-Hill and Rep. Seth Grove, both of whom represent the area where the shootings took place, called the violence “unacceptable.”
“Earlier this morning, three police officers walked out of the doors of their homes for work. Most unfortunately, they will not return home this evening.
