Fremantle have revealed spearhead Aine Tighe could return from a serious knee injury as early as next month.

The Dockers star forward, who led the club’s goal-kicking in 2022 and 2023, has not played since she ruptured her ACL last September.

It was the third ACL injury she’s sustained but the first in her right knee. It was also a devastating blow for the Dockers, who were already without Kiara Bowers (pregnancy) and captain Ange Stannett (ACL) in 2024.

While Bowers and Stannett have played every game so far this season, Tighe has remained on the sidelines as she continued her recovery.

Fremantle on Tuesday revealed the Irishwoman is on track to return in four weeks.
