Pakistani talent is making rounds all over the world. In a recent turn of events, sound engineer Taurees Habib made a post on social media on Wednesday to remind us that he won a Grammy back in February for his work on Hollywood film Dune Part 2 .
“I’m so incredibly honored to have received this for my work,” he wrote. “And to be the first Pakistani to receive this for engineering and only the second Pakistani ever to win a Grammy. It’s crazy to walk into my living room and see this thing just sitting there.”
Habib won the award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media (Including Film and Television) for his compositions on German music producer, Hans Zimmer’s soundtrack for Dune: Part Two.
