Following on from details including a 4500kg braked towing capacity and 8000kg Gross Combination Mass, Ford has now published full details of kerb weights, payloads, and axle load ratings of the various models available.
The heavy-duty nature of the Ford Ranger Super Duty – which includes a beefed up chassis, upgraded differentials and suspension, steel wheels, and larger tyres – means this heavy-duty Ranger is more than 300kg heavier than a regular Ford Ranger XLT with the same 3.0-litre diesel V6.
