A Midlands man who raised nearly £250,000 for vital cancer treatment sadly passed away today, with his family sharing his 'final words' in a poignant last post.

Mitch Middleton, hailed as a "warrior", had previously expressed his fear of dying before his 29th birthday and appealed to the public to help fund private treatment through GoFundMe.

However, the 28 year old from Tamworth, who was battling brain cancer, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loved ones in the early hours of today, September 17, his family confirmed.
