Jimmy Kimmel ’s late night show is taking a break.

An ABC spokesperson confirmed to NBC News Sept. 17 that Jimmy Kimmel Live! “will be pre-empted indefinitely” following the late night host’s Sept. 15 monologue, which included comments about conservative activist Charlie Kirk ’s suspected killer.

“The MAGA gang [is] desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them,” Kimmel said on the show, “and doing everything they can to score political points from it.”
