The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the upcoming weekend, signalling potential disruptions across several regions. Two separate yellow rain warnings are now in effect for western Wales, eastern Northern Ireland, northern England, and southern Scotland.

The first warning affects County Antrim and County Down in eastern Northern Ireland. It will be active from 12pm on Saturday until 3am on Sunday. Forecasters have indicated a "small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded," along with a slight risk of delays and cancellations in transport services. Rainfall is expected to range from 20 to 40mm in most areas, with some locations possibly receiving between 60 to 80mm.

The second yellow rain warning will be in place for southern Scotland, northern England, and western Wales, starting from 9am on Saturday and lasting until 6am on Sunday. The Met Office has cautioned that there is a "slight chance of power cuts" during this period.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to prepare for adverse weather conditions and to stay updated with the latest forecasts.
