PHILADELPHIA COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- Four Pennsylvania correctional officers are facing federal charges after authorities say they deprived an inmate of his constitutional rights and attempted a coverup.
Jahaan Andrews, 34; Oneil Murray, 31; Mumin Hart, 43; and Georgia Malloy, 58, were all indicted by federal authorities, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania announced Wednesday.
Andrews, Murray, and Hart were all correctional officers at the Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Philadelphia County. Malloy, authorities said, was their supervisor.
According to the indictment, Andrews detained an inmate, a pretrial detainee, in a holding room on Oct. 6, 2020.
