Syracuse, the lone minor league team in the organization playing on the day, won their second straight game by a score of 4-3, though it was not always easy.
They trailed this game 2-0 after one, as starter Brandon Waddell surrendered an RBI double and RBI groundout in the frame. This score held all the way until the fourth, when the Mets broke out to take the lead. Carson Benge got them on the board with his second Triple-A home run, and singles by Luke Ritter and Gilberto Celestino gave them the lead.
