The Utah Tech football team seeks the medicine that only victory can provide.
The Trailblazers slipped to 0-3 to start the season after Idaho did not allow a touchdown and defeated Utah Tech 20-6 last weekend in Moscow, Idaho.
Providing all of the points for Utah Tech was redshirt junior Ilya Uvaydov, who became the first kicker in program history to connect on two 50-plus yard field goals in one game.
“He has really made a lot of progress,” head coach Lance Anderson said in his weekly Zoom call with media members on Tuesday.
“He’s just getting better and better, you saw that last season,” Anderson added about Uvaydov, who kicked at Gilbert High School in Gilbert, Arizona before coming to St. George.
