Amy Dowden has expressed her excitement about her latest venture outside the ballroom, just days before the start of Strictly Come Dancing's 2025 series.

The professional dancer is set to return to the popular BBC One dance show this year, with the pre-recorded launch show airing on Saturday (September 20).

Viewers of the beloved programme will recall that Amy faced a setback during the 2024 series, after making a triumphant and warmly received comeback to the ballroom following her cancer diagnosis.

The Welsh star was partnered with JLS member JB Gill, but her journey in the competition was abruptly halted when she sustained an injury at the end of October.
