President Donald Trump praised Princess Kate in a speech during his United Kingdom state visit on Sept. 17.
Trump traveled to the U.K. for a three-day state visit on Sept. 16, his second as president. His first U.K. state visit was during his first term in 2019.
During a dinner at Windsor Castle, Trump complimented the Princess of Wales, who announced a cancer diagnosis in 2024. In January, Kate revealed that her cancer was in remission.
"Melania and I are delighted to visit again with Prince William and to see Her Royal Highness Princess Catherine. So radiant and so healthy and so beautiful," Trump said, turning to Kate, who was seated next to him. "It's truly a great honor."
The Princess of Wales smiled in response. Watch in the video at the top of the story. Presiden
