DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - The “Tour of Lights” has lit up the Northland for 22 years but not without the help of the community.
“It takes us exactly two months to build this and get ready, ”said Nathan Bentley, founder of Bentleyville.
In order to be done in a timely fashion, volunteers are needed to set up the display. Starting Saturday, September 20, they’re looking for volunteers to help put up tunnels, lights, emptying trucks and painting.
People 16 years old and up can volunteer every Saturday and Sunday, rain or shine, from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Coffee and donuts are also available for the morning shift, and lunch is provided on the weekends.
