CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- The Charlotte Fire Department says a 2-alarm fire at an apartment complex was set on purpose.
Firefighters were called to the incident around 2:22 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 17, in the 3300 block of Tuckaseegee.
Around 2:41 a.m., a second alarm was struck, calling additional crews to help. Sixty firefighters controlled the fire in under an hour. No one was hurt.
Investigators say the fire was intentionally set. Authorities have not said if a suspect has been arrested. It is estimated that the blaze caused $25,000 in damage.
