YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Police are responding to an active police incident in in North Codorus Township. Large amounts of police and EMS units, including a STAT MedEvac helicopter, were dispatched to the scene on Haar Road.

State Police are not releasing any information at this time, according to Troop J Public Information Officer Trooper James Grothey.

Local vigils announced

10:30 p.m.

The Advent Lutheran Church in York announced that it will have a service of prayer for the first responders at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18.

The Spring Grove Area Historical Preservation Society announced that a vigil will be held at Alliance Church at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18 as well.
