The Kingdom of Kubala , who claim they are taking back land stolen from their ancestors 400 years ago, have been living in the woods outside Jedburgh since May this year. ‌

Run by "King Atehene," real name Kofi Offeh , 36, the group were evicted from the land on Tuesday by sheriff officers, before moving just metres away to settle a new site on the other side of a fence. ‌

The previous site was on private property , with the owners seeking court orders to remove the trio - but their new site is owned by the council.
