The 2025 season is winding down, which means the ranking season is upon us.

Already, I've looked at the first two rounds for 2026 . Now, it's time to go position by position, beginning in an unfamiliar place: third base.

Why not catcher? With all the emerging talent at the position, the final week-plus might go a long way toward sorting things out there. Third base seems stagnant by comparison, mostly because of how much has gone wrong.
