Over the years, Montana's Big Sky Conference football foes have learned the hard way how to adjust to the impressive fan noise at Washington-Grizzly Stadium.
At least for the most part.
It's still a regular occurrence for them to fall victim to pre-snap penalties caused by all the racket. But they've learned how to keep those infractions at a minimum.
Then there's a team like Indiana State, which will be making its first appearance in Missoula on Saturday. The Sycamores have undoubtedly been warned about Wa-Griz, but until they hit the turf and deal with the noise, combined with the elevation and capable Grizzlies, they're not going to fully understand the unique challenge.
Montana drew 26,309 fans for its first home game and just slightly more for its second
