Samsung released its best foldable yet in the Galaxy Z Fold 7 earlier this year, but it might try to outdo itself before the year is over.

A couple of different reports indicate that Samsung's oft-rumored "Tri-Fold" phone (which would be an extra-large foldable that has two creases instead of just one) is set to launch this year. For starters, Korean tech outlets like Newspim reported a couple of weeks ago that Samsung will hold a launch event in its home country for the phone at the end of September. This event would also reportedly feature information on Samsung's Project Moohan XR headset, as well as a previously unannounced pair of smart glasses. Samsung held an Unpacked event in July that was suspiciously silent on both Moohan and the Tri-Fold .
