MADISON, Wis. — Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream's Camelot Square location on Fordem Avenue will be closing down this Sunday.

To celebrate the closing of one of the company's longest-standing shops, the Camelot Square location will be handing out free single scoops all day long on its last day.

Each customer will receive one free single scoop until the ice cream is all gone.

“We’ve loved being part of the Camelot Square community for so many years,” said Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream's legacy co-owner, Dave Deadman. “This location holds so much history, and we can’t think of a better way to say goodbye than by sharing one last scoop with our neighbors.”

But don't worry, this isn't a permanent goodbye. Chocolate Shoppe will be moving down the street to a new location with a grand opening planned
