GREENVILLE COUNTY, S.C. —

Two Greenville County EMS workers have been fired over social media posts they made about Charlie Kirk.

A county spokesman confirmed the firings and said he could not release any other details.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office confirmed an employee was terminated on Monday for violating the office's standard of conduct and social media policy.

The sheriff's office would not elaborate on what the violation was.

The move comes after several firings and dismissals in the week following Kirk's assassination.
