Kali Uchis is making it clear she wants no ties to D4vd in light of shocking news surrounding the R&B singer.

On Tuesday (Sept. 16), the singer revealed that their collaborative effort “Crashing” is in the process of being removed from digital streaming platforms amid the disturbing reports. The joint track appeared on D4vd’s debut studio album Withered and was accompanied by a music video.

After a fan referred to D4vd as Uchis’ “friend’ in a comment, she responded, “Not my friend, I did a song with him which is currently in the process of being taken down given today’s disturbing news.” When another fan questioned the move, she doubled down. “It’s ok bb people like her are why women always get blamed for the things men do lol, the internalized misogyny of this world I suppose,
