BRIDGETON — A city man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly sexually assaulting a person, police said.

Daniel Garcia, 22, was charged with aggravated sex assault, sexual assault by force or coercion, endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated sexual contact and criminal sexual contact.

He's being held in the Cumberland County jail pending court.

The alleged assault took place in the 100 block of Walnut Street, police said Thursday in a news release. No additional details were released.
