SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The 2nd annual Miles for Minds event is being held to raise awareness for epilepsy.

The event will be on September 20 at Washington Park in Springfield. There will be a walk and family friendly activities.

There will also be epilepsy education and an opportunity to network with others about their epilepsy journey.

You can come by for fun or register for the walk to get a t-shirt and medal. Registration is now open here .

Registration will also be available at the event starting at 8 a.m. The walk will start at 9:15 a.m.
