For fans Hung Up on Madonna’s older albums, you’re in for a real treat as the Queen of Pop has announced she’s getting back Into The Groove and releasing a dance album in 2026 – and it’s going to ‘provoke a few needed conversations’.

The Like A Prayer hitmaker, 67, is due to be a follow-up of her 2005 album Confessions on a Dancefloor, and work’s been happening behind the scenes since late last year at least.

It will be Madonna’s first record since 2019’s Madame X, and her 15th studio album over a career spanning four decades since she sashayed onto the world’s stage with Holiday in 1983.

It’s an even bigger moment for Madonna, as for this album she has re-signed with Warner Records, where she spent the first three decades of her career.
