NEW CASTLE, IN — One New Castle man has been accused of severely beating another.

Carter Lee Collins, 18, is charged in Henry Circuit Court 2 with battery resulting in serious bodily injury, possession of meth, battery on a law enforcement official, resisting law enforcement, battery resulting in bodily injury and disorderly conduct.

According to New Castle police, Collins attacked a male acquaintance in that man's Broad Street apartment on Sept. 12.
