Ryan McKay is coming off a season in which he earned all-Big Ten second-team honors with the Michigan State baseball team.

And, while undoubtedly he'll have the attention of Big Ten foes this season, he also has the attention of national Major League Baseball Draft evaluators.

McKay, a junior second baseman who starred at Orchard Lake St. Mary's, is one of 10 players Baseball America on Thursday identified as "underrated" 2026 MLB Draft prospects . These players, the outlet explains, are prospects sitting outside their top 100 college draft prospects, but could crack the list as it's updated.

McKay led the Spartans last season with a .319 batting average, and his team-leading 20 doubles ranked fifth in the Big Ten. He was second on the team with a .916 OPS, registering more walks (36)
