DE PERE, Wis. (WBAY) - St. Norbert College announced its Army ROTC program will remain in place following revised guidance from the U.S. Army.

Last July, the college learned that its program was slated to be shut down following a nationwide reorganization.

The Army since issued a revised directive for programs slated for closure or reclassification, and the program will continue as an extension unit.

The ROTC program has been a member of the Fox Valley Battalion since 1936.
