Detectives with the Farmington Public Safety Department continue to investigate a possible “stranger danger” incident reported earlier this month in the area of Farmington and Eight Mile roads.

Two teenage girls told public safety officers that shortly after 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 7 they were approached by a woman in a vehicle who asked if they wanted a ride. After they declined, the woman followed them in her vehicle.

The woman is described as in her early 30s, who was wearing a pink baseball cap and dark sunglasses at the time. The vehicle is described as a smaller black SUV.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have had a similar interaction is asked to contact Farmington Public Safety Commander Patrick Spelman at 248-688-5150 or via email at pspelman@farmgov.com .
