Jabrill Peppers has changed teams four times over the course of his nine-year NFL career, so the novelty of facing off against former teams has worn off over time. It’s the business side of the NFL.
But Sunday’s game at Gillette Stadium has a bit of a personal feel, too, for Peppers, who was expecting to be starting for the Patriots this season rather than starting over again with the Steelers.
“I’m the type of guy that this does mean a little more for me,” Peppers said. “This is the first time I had a situation like this — getting cut and then playing the team that cuts you like two weeks later.
