Peter Woloshyn is saying a big ‘Thank you, thank you very much’ after winning a cool $1 million on Lotto Max.
Perhaps he also belted out the Kid Galahad number I Got Lucky!
The Spruce Grove resident showed up to claim his prize decked out in a white Elvis Presley-style jumpsuit, complete with red scarf, and said he had a suspicious mind after he scanned his ticket in store.
“I had the cashier check it as well because I thought maybe it was just $10,000,” he said.
“I was pretty calm at the time, but I was nervous once I got home knowing I had to keep the ticket safe.”
In advance of his prize claim interview, he called to ask if he had to dress up, the Western Canada Lottery Corporation said in a Thursday news release.
