Crunchyroll is home to some of the best anime around, but it's also home to some absolute flops. There are a ton of different series on the amazing streaming service that should have been better , and flop in particular stands out glaringly.

Still, Crunchyroll has acquired streaming rights to some of the most exciting new series in the art form. The Lord of Mysteries is one such series, showcasing one of the most ambitious narratives China has ever produced.

The Lord of Mysteries looks like it has the potential to be China's One Piece, and it isn't the only isekai with a lot going for it. The Beginning After the End had what it took to compete with this amazing new series, but unlike The Lord of Mysteries, it dropped the ball before it could ever get rolling.
