The Warren Fourth of July 250th Committee hosts a kick-off event, an opening reception, set to take place Friday, Sept. 19, at The George Hail Free Library on Main Street from 5-8 p.m.

Town Council President Joe DePasquale will serve as master of ceremonies. United States Congressman Gabe Amo and Rhode Island Secretary of State Gregg Amore were previously named as guest speakers at the event, with U.S. Senator Jack Reed just recently added to the roll of those who will offer up comments.
