Agustin Ramirez homered, Javier Sanoja had three hits, and the Miami Marlins beat the Colorado Rockies 8-4 in Denver on Wednesday night.

Troy Johnston and Connor Norby had two hits each and Lake Bachar (7-2) picked up the win for Miami (72-80).

Hunter Goodman had three hits and Kyle Farmer and Jordan Beck contributed two hits apiece for Colorado (41-111), which has dropped 21 of its past 25.

The start of the game was delayed 40 minutes due to inclement weather in the area.

The Rockies took the lead in the second inning against Marlins starter Ryan Weathers. Farmer singled in Ezequiel Tovar, who had led off the inning with a single that was followed by a walk to Blaine Crim.

Braxton Fulford drove in another run in the inning with a sacrifice fly to right field.
