SPRINGFIELD, Mass. —

Video posted to social media of a brazen shooting that happened in Springfield, Massachusetts, earlier this summer, helped lead police to the arrest of three men, officials said Thursday.

During the early morning of July 5, police said they found 16 shell casings in the area of Miller Street and damage to a vehicle and a home where a bullet struck a living room couch. Three young children and two adults were inside the home at the time.

Officers saw another home with damage from gunfire to its siding, and a third home was struck with a bullet that landed inside a couch in the living room, police said.

Two more victims came forward during the course of the day. One said their car was struck with gunfire, and another said their kitchen window was struck by a bullet,
