ALLEN PARK, MI – One person is dead and another is seriously injured after a rollover crash in Metro Detroit.

Michigan State Police in Detroit responded to the crash, which occurred on westbound I-94 near Pelham Road in Allen Park at 11:25 a.m. on Wednesday.

The driver, a 37-year-old Detroit man suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene while a passenger, a 37-year-old woman from Detroit, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for advanced medical treatment.

She is listed in stable condition, police said. Neither person has been identified by name.

Troopers were assisted on scene by the Taylor Polce Department, Tayor Fire Department and Area Towing Response Team.
