At the end of its most recent meeting held Wednesday night, Sept. 17, the zoning board held a first substantive discussion on the possibility of combining it with the planning board to form one, single review entity in the town since the council broached subject at its forum the week prior.

While the council's talks were in the very preliminary stages, members did decide to investigate the matter further by tasking Town Solicitor Anthony DeSisto to provide more detail in the near term, whether that be at its regularly scheduled forum in October or potentially a special workshop session next month.
