On Wednesday, York County officers — whose departments are still unknown — were conducting a follow-up on a domestic-related investigation when they approached a property on Haar Road in North Codorus Township where they were ambushed .

Now, three officers are dead and two are in “critical, but stable condition.”

In the wake of the officers’ deaths, Spring Grove Alliance Church , 213 N. Main St., Spring Grove, plans to hold a “Community Prayer Vigil” for the fallen officers Thursday night.

The church announced the vigil on Facebook .
