A third person charged over the alleged murder of Gin Gin teenager Pheobe Bishop has faced court as the investigation continues to grow in complexity.
Kieren Daniel Mittelheuser , 30, is accused of interfering with the investigation by using the 16-year-old’s mobile phone after her disappearance on May 15 in Bundaberg, Queensland .
Pheobe was meant to catch a flight from Bundaberg to visit her boyfriend in Western Australia , but never made it to the airport.
Weeks later, police found her body in Goodnight Scrub National Park.
Her housemates, James Wood and Tanika Bromley , have been charged with her murder and remain in custody.
Pheobe’s mother and sister were present in court wearing “Justice For Pheobe” shirts as they watched the brief proceeding.
