On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at approximately 2010hours, police were informed of an assault in the vicinity of Park Drive and City Island Road, within the confines of the 45 th Precinct in the Bronx .

Officers were informed that a 30-year-old female victim was stabbed multiple times about the body, and a 44-year-old male was stabbed in the right forearm.

The victims were transported by private means to Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, where the 30-year-old female succumbed to her injuries and was later pronounced deceased.

The 44-year-old male victim is listed in stable condition.

Following proper family notification, the deceased has been identified as indicated.
