CULLMAN COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - The Cullman County Sheriff's Office said that a man was arrested on Wednesday after he shot at county employees while they were working.
According to a post, CCSO responded to a shots-fired call in the Vinemont community. The reports said that 63-year-old James Clarence Sloan was shooting in the direction of Cullman County Road Department employees.
When deputies arrived, Sloan attempted to drive off, but CCSO said he was quickly detained.
When they searched him, deputies found marijuana on him. Sloan is now facing several charges: • Reckless Endangerment • Aggravated Assault / Menacing • Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree (UPOM 2nd) • Possession of Drug Paraphernalia • Resisting Arrest • Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement
