Gulfport Police have arrested three teenagers in connection with a shooting that sent bullets into a home with people inside of it early Tuesday morning.
At approximately 1:03 a.m., officers responded to multiple reports of gunfire near Roberts Avenue and 28th Street. When they arrived, officers discovered several shell casings at the scene and found that a home had been struck, with at least one bullet entering an occupied bedroom.
Following an investigation, detectives identified 18-year-old Treyshun Demarcus Whittle, 17-year-old Miyun La’montae Ashley, and 17-year-old Tacorey Oise Martin Young, all of Gulfport, as suspects. Police say the three discharged firearms before fleeing the scene and returning to their residence.
