HENDERSON, Ky (WEHT) - Ten pounds of crystal meth was taken off the streets, and a man is in jail following a traffic stop in Gibson County.
The Princeton Police Department states on September 17, members of the department along with Indiana State Police and the DEA Evansville Resident Office performed surveillance on Levertes Goodwin.
Authorities state Goodwin was traveling from Chicago towards Gibson County, and investigators suspected he was acquiring a large amount of meth from an unknown supply source.
A Trooper was able to pull over Goodwin for speeding near Hazelton, and a K9 was able to alert to the presence of controlled substances.
Troopers reportedly smelled raw marijuana from Goodwin's vehicle, and a search revealed a glass jar that contained a green plant-like material and
