SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- We got beneficial rainfall overnight but the rain isn't quite done yet!

Moisture from Tropical Storm Mario leftovers is still surging on Thursday, leading to warm and muggy weather. Scattered showers and pop-up thunderstorms are possible for all areas, but favored for the mountains and deserts which we are already seeing on satellite radar as of midday.

The rain activity continues to move northward across the region on Thursday and more intense thunderstorms could produce brief heavy downpours at times until the evening hours. A Flood Watch is still in effect for the mountains and deserts until 2 a.m. on Friday.
