Vancouver woman hit by vehicle at Mill Plain, I

A Vancouver woman was injured Wednesday when a car struck her while merging from Mill Plain Boulevard onto southbound Interstate 205, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Sarah Vedder, 62, was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. Her condition was not immediately available Thursday.

Chad Ackerman, 37, was traveling west about 7:40 p.m. in a 2013 Lincoln MKZ when he hit Vedder, who was in the roadway, according to the State Patrol.

Ackerman was not injured.
