ALPHA — Alpha Michigan Brewing Co. will present Yooptoberfest from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Melanie Rose of the local area will perform a variety of acoustic music from noon to 3 p.m.

The Make-Believe Spurs of Marquette will entertain the crowd from 4 to 7 p.m., playing variety of alternative folk and Americana music.

A stein-holding contest is set to take place at 3:30 p.m., with keg racing at 5:30 p.m. There will be men and women divisions for both competitions, with Alpha Brewing Co. gift cards awarded to the winners.

Everyone is encouraged to dress in their lederhosen and dirndls to compete for the best dressed. Judging will take place.

Yooptoberfest brew will be on tap starting at noon.

They will have a variety of food and drinks available for purchase.
