PRINCETON, Ind. (WEVV) — Police say they arrested a Gibson County man after catching him with around 10 pounds of meth on Wednesday.

Officials at the Princeton Police Department say 42-year-old Levertes Goodwin of Princeton was suspected of acquiring a large amount of meth from an unknown supplier.

PPD says surveillance was being conducted on Goodwin as he traveled from Chicago towards Gibson County, and that he was pulled over.

After a K9 alerted to the presence of drugs, authorities say they found large bags of crystal meth.

Police weighed the meth and found it was about 10 pounds.

Goodwin was booked into the Gibson County Jail for meth dealing and possession charges.
